IDFC First Bank Links Digital Rupee to UPI QR Codes for Easy Payments

IDFC First Bank has made a big announcement about Digital Rupee, a digital currency.

They’ve made it easier for people to use Digital Rupee for payments. The bank has connected its Digital Rupee app with UPI QR codes.

This change is part of the Reserve Bank of India’s plan to make Digital Rupee available to regular people.

This makes it simpler for shop owners to accept payments made with Digital Rupee.

People can use Digital Rupee for payments by scanning the QR codes that shops already have.

Madhivanan Balakrishnan, who works at IDFC First Bank, said that this new feature will help more people in India use Digital Rupee.

IDFC First Bank’s shares have been a good investment. People who invested in this bank’s shares have seen their money grow a lot.

In one year, the return on investment has been as high as 95%. In six months, it was 73%, and this year, it’s gone up by 62%.
