An ICICI Bank spokesperson acknowledged that about 17,000 new credit cards issued recently were mistakenly linked to the wrong users within the bank’s digital systems.

Despite this mistake, the spokesperson assured customers that there have been no reported cases of misuse.

The bank also promised to compensate affected customers for any financial losses they may have experienced.

What is iMobile Pay App?

iMobile Pay is ICICI Bank’s official mobile banking app, providing over 400 banking services. It’s available for both ICICI Bank and non-ICICI Bank customers.

With the app, users can manage multiple cards, transfer funds, apply for loans, and open FD or RD accounts.
