the company also plans to fill other positions as the tech company prepares to open many stores in the country.

The company’s careers page lists several opportunities for workers in India, including Business Experts, ‘Geniuses,’ Operations Experts, and Technical Specialists.

Planning to open a retail store in India for a long time

According to Apple’s website, the company is currently showing more than 100 results for job positions in India.

Some retail job roles were posted on Saturday for various locations in the country, like Mumbai and New Delhi.

According to a Bloomberg report, the company has long been planning to set up physical retail locations in India, one of the world’s fastest-growing smartphone markets.

At the same time, the company started direct online sales in 2020. Apple has not even given any statement to FT.

The iPhone has been manufactured since September last year

Earlier, Apple Inc had announced to start of production of the new series 14 of iPhone in India to diversify its production in India.

This step is being seen as a milestone for the company. The Foxconn unit in Chennai started assembling the iPhone 14 series smartphones for the domestic Indian market in September last year.

Currently, more than 80 percent of iPhones made in India in partnership with Foxconn meet domestic demand.

Production was stopped in China
