Airtel has sweetened the deal for its customers by enhancing its budget-friendly Rs 99 data plan.
This plan, introduced by the company in August, comes in handy when you run out of data from your regular plan. Let’s dive into the improvements:
Previous Benefits of Airtel Rs 99 Data Pack
Before the update, Airtel’s Rs 99 data pack offered unlimited data with a 30GB Fair Usage Policy (FUP) limit
and a 1-day validity. Even after exhausting the 30GB of high-speed data, users could still use unlimited data at a reduced speed of 64 Kbps.
What’s New in Airtel Rs 99 Data Pack
Now, in Airtel’s Rs 99 data pack, customers will enjoy unlimited data with a longer validity of 2 days.
However, the daily data FUP limit has been adjusted to 20GB per day, after which the speed will decrease to 64 Kbps.
This means Airtel users will receive 20GB of high-speed data each day for two days, totaling 40GB.
With this update, Airtel has increased the total data benefit by 10GB and extended the validity by one day.
It’s important to note that to avail of this data pack, you must have an active base plan.
Airtel customers can now enjoy more data and extended browsing with the enhanced Rs 99 data pack.
