WhatsApp has a new thing called Chat Filter to make chatting easier. The big company Meta, which owns WhatsApp, talked about this in a recent blog post.
What’s Chat Filter?
The boss of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg, says this new feature helps people find messages quickly on WhatsApp. It saves time finding a specific chat.
Why did they make it?
Because people are using WhatsApp for both personal and work stuff. The filter makes it easier to find who you want to chat with without scrolling through all your messages.
What are the filters?
There are three default filters
All: Shows all your chats, personal and group.
Unread: Shows only messages you haven’t read yet. They’re marked “Unread.”
Groups: Shows all the groups you’re in.
How do you use it?
Just update WhatsApp to the latest version, then:
1) Open WhatsApp.
2) At the top, there are three filter options: All, Unread, and Groups.
3) Choose the one you want.
When can you get it?
WhatsApp says they’re starting to roll out the feature worldwide today. Just update your app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store to use it.
