Honda Unveils First Flex Fuel Bike in India at Bharat Mobility Global Auto Expo 2024

Honda India Group displayed many of its products at the Bharat Mobility Global Auto Expo 2024 in Pragati Maidan, Delhi.

The group includes Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI), Honda Power Pack Energy India (HEID), Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL), and HIPP (Honda India Power Products), and they showcased various products.

In this Auto Expo, the company presented some new products with a focus on sustainability and road safety. The company aims to make all its products carbon neutral by 2050.

Introduction of the First Flex Fuel Bike

At the Bharat Mobility Auto Expo, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India introduced the flex fuel bike for the first time.

Although this bike is already available in other countries, with 70 lakh people owning it in Brazil, it has been introduced here to support the flex fuel ecosystem of the Government of India.

It’s important to note that flex fuel is made of ethanol and gas. Honda’s first flex fuel bike features a single-cylinder, air-cooled 293.52cc engine.

Showcasing Battery Sharing Technology

Additionally, Honda Power Pack Energy India showcased new technology, including the Honda Power Pack Exchanger E and Honda Mobile Power Pack E.

The company is promoting green mobility through smart solutions, and they highlighted battery sharing technology for electric two and three-wheelers.

Honda Cars’ Product Showcase

Honda Cars India introduced two recently launched SUVs, namely the Honda City: e-HEV and Honda Elevate. The City: e-HEV supports self-charging.

Furthermore, the company featured its powerful SUV, Elevate, which had been recently launched and was also presented at the expo.
