Ever since Elon Musk started running X (formerly known as Twitter), he’s been making a lot of changes to the platform.
He’s always announcing new stuff almost every day. And this time, he’s doing something similar again.
Elon Musk just said that he’s going to let people use X’s Premium and Premium Plus services for free.
Premium service is going to be free now
So, if you’re using X, Elon Musk says you can get the Premium service for free. But there’s a condition, too. Let me explain it to you.
Elon Musk put out a message saying that if you have at least 5000 followers, you can get the Premium Plus service for free as well.
More followers mean more perks
Now, here’s something interesting. Elon Musk also said that Grok AI Chat, which was only for Premium Plus users before, will soon be available for Premium users too.
This means even regular users of X can use Grok AI chatbot if they have 2500 followers.
Last year, Elon Musk said that the starting price for X’s basic, which is the premium plan, would be Rs 244 per month or Rs 2590 per year.
And the initial price for X Premium Plus was set at Rs 1300 per month or Rs 13,600 per year.
Just so you know, these changes are happening because of the competition with OpenAI.
