Motorola Rolls Out Android 14 Update for Indian Users

Good news for people in India who use Motorola phones! Motorola has released Android 14 for one of its older smartphones, the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra.

This update will bring lots of new features to the phone, giving users a fresh experience even on older devices.

The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra is known for its impressive 200-megapixel camera.

A few months ago, Motorola released the Android 14 update for this phone in Latin America and Europe, and now it’s available for Indian customers too.

This update marks the second major operating system update for the Edge 30 Ultra.

The update has a firmware version of U1SQS34.52-21-1-7 and is 1.49GB in size. Motorola initially promised three major OS updates for the phone, so it will also receive Android 15 in the future.

Here are some of the new features in Android 14

1) Selective media sharing lets users share specific images or videos instead of their entire media library.

2) Alerts notify users about changes in data-sharing policies and provide more transparency regarding apps sharing location data.

3) Instant notifications warn users if an unknown Bluetooth tracker is detected nearby.

4) Health Connect integration offers a centralized platform to store health data and control sharing with fitness apps.

5) Do Not Disturb mode includes flash notifications for alerts, with customizable settings for camera light, screen light, or both.

6) Besides these features, the update will also bring other improvements to the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra.

7) It’s worth mentioning that Motorola recently launched the Edge 50 Pro in India and the Edge 50 Ultra globally. The Edge 50 Ultra is expected to arrive in India soon.

Features of Motorola Edge 30 Ultra 5G

Impressive display, ample RAM, and powerful processor: The phone features a 6.67-inch pOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and 1250 nits peak brightness.

It’s protected by Corning Glass 5 and includes an in-display fingerprint scanner and face unlock. The phone runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor.

Outstanding camera and fast charging: The Edge 30 Ultra boasts a 200-megapixel main camera with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens.

It also has a 60-megapixel selfie camera. The phone supports fast charging with a Type-C port, offering 125W wired fast charging

and 50W wireless charging. Motorola claims the phone can last a whole day with just seven minutes of charging.
