Before, they charged Rs 999 for one year, but now it’s only Rs 799. They also changed what you get with it.
Now, if you have Amazon Prime Lite, you can get your stuff in one day, two days, or on a special day.
You also get other cool things like no extra money to pay every month (no cost EMI), a new screen if yours breaks in 6 months, special Amazon deals, and you can watch videos early.
If you buy things for more than Rs 175, they’ll bring them to you in the morning without extra rush fees, and they’ll give you some money back, up to Rs 25.
But, now, you can only use it on one device instead of two.
The videos you watch will be in HD (that’s a bit better quality), but you won’t get Amazon Prime Music or Reading like the more expensive plan.
In India, there used to be 4 plans, but now the Lite plan is only Rs 799 instead of Rs 999.
The main difference between the Lite and the more expensive plan is that with the expensive one, you get lots of Amazon Prime stuff like unlimited ads, free videos, music, and books.
You also get things in the morning for free if they’re under Rs 50. The expensive plan also comes with Prime Gaming and Family offers.”
