According to the information in the tweet by UIDAI, if you want to get any demographic update done on your Aadhaar card, you will have to pay Rs 50 for it.
Apart from this, 100 rupees have to be paid for Aadhaar Biometric Update. Apart from this, if you are ordering PVC Aadhaar Card, then you have to pay 50 rupees for it.
Although Aadhaar Enrollment and the necessary biometrics of children are free, UIDAI does not charge any fee for these services.
But many times, it has been seen that for these services also, charges are collected from the customers. However, UIDAI is strongly against it.
