India Yamaha Motor (IYM) Pvt. Ltd. has introduced the Moto GP Edition of its Aerox 155 scooter in India.
This exclusive model comes in four colors: Metallic Black, Racing Blue, Gray Vermillion, and Silver.
Priced at Rs 1.48 lakh (ex-showroom), the special edition features a Class D headlamp for improved nighttime visibility and added traction control for rider safety.
The design of the Yamaha Aerox 155 Moto GP Edition closely resembles the standard model, sporting an all-black color scheme with Moto GP branding.
Its front apron showcases Moto GP-inspired graphics. Notably, it comes equipped with a Bluetooth-enabled LCD instrument cluster, all-LED lighting,
and stylish body-colored 14-inch alloy wheels. Safety features include disc brakes on both wheels and dual-channel ABS.
Under the hood, the Yamaha Aerox 155 Moto GP Edition retains the 155cc blue-core liquid-cooled engine, featuring Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) and a CVT automatic transmission.
This powertrain delivers 14.79bhp of power at 8,000rpm and 13.9Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm.
The engine can also run on E20 fuel, a blend of 80% petrol and 20% ethanol, and includes an on-board diagnostics system.
