Meta-owned multimedia messaging app WhatsApp is working on another new feature.
This new and upcoming feature of WhatsApp has been named ‘kept message.’
According to a report by WaBetaInfo, disappearing messages can also be saved temporarily.
Remind you that WhatsApp launched the disappearing message feature in August 2021.
Disappearing messages are automatically deleted after a specified period.
Now the company wants to give some control to the users regarding the disappearing message.
After the new update, the disappearing message can be seen anytime. WhatsApp is also bringing a bookmark icon for disappearing messages.
Only the sender knows that his disappearing message has also been saved through this icon.
Will be able to transfer WhatsApp messages even without backup
WhatsApp is working on another new feature, after which it will be straightforward to transfer chats.
Currently, WhatsApp chat will be transferred to another phone only if the backup of the chat is already taken, but this will not happen in the coming times.
WhatsApp is about to introduce a QR code for this. With the help of this QR code, WhatsApp data will be transferred from Android to Android phones.
This feature is already in the iPhone. Google Drive and Apple iCloud are available for WhatsApp chat backup.
