Volkswagen Unveils Prices for New Taigun GT Variants

A little while ago, Volkswagen introduced two new versions of the Taigun: the GT Plus Sport and GT Line.

Now, they’ve shared the prices for these new sporty models. The Taigun GT Line, which comes with a smaller 1.0-liter engine, starts at Rs 14.08 lakh.

Meanwhile, the Taigun GT Plus Sport, with a bigger 1.5-liter turbocharged engine, starts at the same price.

If you want the petrol version, it starts from Rs 18.54 lakh. Volkswagen is also giving a 4-year Service Value Package for free with the GT Plus Sport.

Deliveries for these cars have started this month.

What’s special about the Volkswagen Taigun GT Line?

The Taigun GT Line comes only with a 115hp, 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine, but you can choose between a manual or automatic transmission.

It has similar features to the top-spec Taigun Chrome Topline, but looks different, especially on the outside.

Design

It comes with black 17-inch ‘Casino’ alloy wheels and all the chrome parts on the outside are black instead, like the front grille, headlights, roof rails, spoiler, and badges.

Inside, it keeps the black theme with gray stitching on the doors, seats, front center armrest, and steering wheel. Plus, you can get aluminum pedals with the GT Plus Sport.

Volkswagen Taigun Sport’s Competition

This blacked-out version of the Volkswagen Taigun will compete with cars like the Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo, Kia Seltos X-Line, and Hyundai Creta N Line.
