India’s 11th Vande Bharat Train to run from Jabalpur to Indore via Bhopal (See Details)

Madhya Pradesh is set to get its first high-speed train, the 11th Vande Bharat Express, which is expected to become operational in the first month of the next financial year.

The train will run between Jabalpur and Indore, passing through Bhopal, and will connect the state’s three most important cities via a high-speed rail corridor.

Preparations for the launch of the train are almost complete, with maintenance work being carried out on the train’s rakes in the coach yard.

Based on available information, the Jabalpur-Indore Vande Bharat Express is scheduled to commence its journey at 5 am from Itarsi and travel through Ujjain and Bhopal before reaching Indore.

The train will depart from Indore at 3 pm and travel to Jabalpur.

As per reports, all the necessary preparations for launching the train have been completed.

The responsibility for maintaining the trains in the Jabalpur mandal lies with the coach yard at Jabalpur Railway Station.

The typical maximum speed of the Vande Bharat trains is 160 km per hour;

However, the Indore-Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express will travel at a speed of 130 km per hour.

The entire journey between Jabalpur and Indore is expected to take just 7 hours.

Train Schedule

According to an official associated with the operations, the Vande Bharat train will leave Jabalpur at 5 am and reach Indore around 11.30 am.

In return, the train will leave Indore at 3 pm and reach Jabalpur at 10 pm. This train will run with stoppages at Itarsi, Rani Kamalapati and Ujjain stations from both sides.

How many days a week will the train run? At the same time, minor changes can also be made to the train timetable at the last moment.

It still needs to be clarified. Presently Narmada Express running between Indore to Jabalpur takes 14 hours, and Jabalpur-Indore overnight takes 10 hours.

Coaching yard work started for cleanliness

Along with Ratlam Railway Division, Jabalpur Railway Division has also stepped up preparations for the operation of Vande Bharat.

Work has started in the coaching yard of Jabalpur station for the maintenance and cleanliness of the train.
