Unveiling the World’s Thinnest Foldable Phone Splashy Launch at an Amazing Price

Honor is introducing more smartphones in different countries, and now they have launched the Honor Magic V2 in Europe after its release in China.

This phone is claimed to be the world’s thinnest and lightest foldable smartphone, with a thickness of only 9.9 mm.

Despite its slim design, the Magic V2 doesn’t compromise on features. It comes with a big battery and is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus processor.

In Europe, it is sold at a higher price compared to China. Let’s explore its price and features in simpler terms…

The Honor Magic V2’s price in Europe is £1,699.99/€1,999, approximately Rs 1 lakh 80 thousand. It is available in Purple and Black colors starting from January 26.

To give you an idea, in China, the 256GB variant was priced at around 8,999 Yuan, roughly 1,250 dollars or 1 lakh 3 thousand rupees.

So, it seems more expensive in Europe, but this is common as China generally has lower smartphone prices due to various factors.

Now, let’s take a look at the features of the Honor Magic V2:

Slim and Light Design: The Magic V2 is known for being the thinnest and lightest. When folded, it is only 9.9 mm thick, and when unfolded, it becomes 4.7 mm.

The design is premium, with a rectangular camera module, similar to the Magic VS. It’s even thinner than the Huawei Mate 50RS, a traditional bar phone.

Sturdy Build: Despite its slim and light build, the phone is robust. It features a new hinge technology called Luban Titanium Hinge,

certified to withstand 400,000 folds without issues. The phone is also lighter than the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Impressive Display: The Magic V2 boasts a 5.45-inch OLED cover screen with a 20:9 ratio, supporting a 120Hz refresh rate and 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.

The main 7.92-inch OLED screen has a 9.8:9 ratio, matching the refresh rate and dimming frequency. It achieves a peak brightness of 2500 nits and is flicker-free certified.

Powerful Processor: The European version of Honor Magic V2 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus processor. It runs on Magic UI 6.1 based on Android 12,

featuring a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup and a 50-megapixel front camera. The phone is equipped with a 4610mAh battery and supports 66W charging.

In simpler terms, Honor Magic V2 is a thin, light, and powerful smartphone with a great display and camera setup, but it comes at a higher price in Europe compared to China.
