Attention all HDFC Bank account holders! If you have an account with HDFC Bank, you may be in for a surprise.
The bank has recently announced that certain services will be temporarily unavailable for a period of two days in June.
This means that customers might experience some inconvenience during this time. HDFC Bank has sent out emails to inform its customers about these changes.
The reason behind this disruption is the scheduled maintenance and upgrade of the bank’s system, which necessitates the temporary suspension of some services.
Why are the services being temporarily suspended?
HDFC Bank has clarified that the temporary suspension of services is required to facilitate the maintenance and upgrade of their system.
As a result, customers will be unable to access certain services for the specified period. Similarly, Kotak Mahindra Bank has also announced that select debit card services will be unavailable for a few hours in June.
Closure of various services, including deposits
HDFC Bank has disclosed that on June 10th and 18th, customers will not be able to avail themselves of services related to checking account balances, making deposits, and transferring funds.
Please note that these three services will be inaccessible between 3 am and 6 am. This decision has been made in order to facilitate the bank’s system upgrade.
Additionally, on June 4th, between 3 am and 6 am, customers will not have access to banking facilities.
How can customers check their account balance?
To address the inconvenience caused by the service suspension, HDFC Bank has provided an alternative method for customers to check their account balance.
Customers can now use WhatsApp to check their balance by sending a message to 7070022222.
By following the instructions provided, customers will be able to avail themselves of various account-related services.
To check their balance, customers can simply click on “Balance Enquiry.”
