State Bank launches ‘Nation First Transit Card’ for it’s Customers: See Benefits

Nation First Transit Card: The State Bank of India (SBI) has introduced a new card called the ‘National Common Mobility Card’ (NCMC), which uses RuPay technology.

This card can be used to pay for transportation on roads, railways, and waterways, as well as for parking and shopping at retail stores.

‘One Nation, One Card’

Dinesh Kumar Khara, Chairman of SBI, said, “This card will change how we travel, and it follows the idea of ‘One Nation, One Card’.”

The card was introduced at the Global Fintech Fest 2023.

A new card for using the metro

SBI shared that they will also introduce a ticketing system called NCMC for MMRC Metro Line 3 and Agra Metro. This will be available to the public soon.

SBI’s financial details

State Bank of India has given lots of home loans worth more than ₹6.53 lakh crore and has collected deposits of over ₹45.31 lakh crore.

SBI has a big part of the home loan market, 33.4%, and the auto loan market, 19.5%.
