State Bank launches Mobile Handheld Device for it’s Customers (See Details)

The State Bank of India (SBI) did something important to help customers with banking at home.

As part of this, the bank gave its customers small and light devices that can be used to access many banking services.

This service lets customers access banking from their homes. Have you signed up for SBI Doorstep Banking yet?

You can also use this service to get banking at your doorstep. SBI mentioned in a tweet, “Your bank is now coming to you.

SBI Chairman Dinesh Khara said that the goal of this effort is to help more people access banking and provide important banking services to everyone.

This effort is about making it easier and more convenient for people to use bank services.

This move brings ‘kiosk banking’ right to customers’ homes. It makes it easier for customer service center (CSP) agents to reach customers, especially those who may have health problems, are older, or have disabilities.

Khara mentioned that with this new plan, they will start by offering five important banking services.

These include taking out money, putting in money, sending money, checking your bank balance, and getting a small report of your transactions (mini statement).

These services make up more than 75% of all the transactions that happen at the bank’s CSP.

He mentioned that the bank is also thinking about starting sign-up, opening new accounts, and using cards for social security programs in the future.
