A new Samsung phone, the Galaxy A13 4G, is getting an update to Android 14.
This phone is not very expensive. The update is starting in Korea and will reach other countries soon.
Samsung usually updates its main phones for seven years, but the Galaxy A13 will only get two big updates.
So, Android 14 is the last one for this phone. It might also get a One UI 6.1 update.
To get the update, go to your phone’s settings and look for “Software Update” to find version A135NKSU5DWL5. If you’re in a different place, watch for an update notification.
The update has some cool improvements. The Quick Panel is easier to use, emojis are updated, and there’s a new font.
The Media Player and lock screen watch widget can be customized now.
Samsung’s apps like Gallery, Internet, Messages, Phone, and Reminders have a new look. Some apps no longer have the “Samsung” name for simplicity.
The photo editor is easier to use, and there’s a new video editor called “Studio.”
