Google has added two new things to its search engine. The first one is called Circle to Search, and the second is Multisearch Experience.
These changes will make Google search look different. The cool thing is, now you won’t have to switch between different apps when you want to search for something.
Let me explain what Circle to Search is. It works a bit like Google Lens. With Circle to Search, you can find information about something in a photo.
All you have to do is draw a circle around what you want to know more about. Google will then show you results related to that thing. You can also tap on things instead of making circles to search.
The best part is, you can do all of this without leaving the app you’re in. For example, if you have a photo in your gallery, you don’t have to go to the Google app to search about it.
This feature works not only with photos but also with videos. Circle to Search will be available on Pixel phones and some other fancy Android phones starting from January 31, 2024.
It supports all the languages on the internet, and you can activate it by quickly pressing the home button on your Android phone.
Now, let’s talk about Multisearch and Gen AI features. Multisearch is here to make searching faster and better.
It works with text, photos, and screenshots. With Multisearch, you can get results generated by AI.
This feature will be available next week, and you can use it through Google Lens or the Google app. There’s also something called Search Generative Experience (SGE) that comes with it.
