Samsung Unveils affordable Galaxy A Series 5G Smartphones for Indian Market

Samsung recently introduced new Galaxy A series smartphones in Vietnam, offering budget-friendly options.

The company launched the Samsung Galaxy A25 5G and Galaxy A15 5G smartphones, along with the 4G version of the Galaxy A15.

Tipster ANNleaks has disclosed the launch date for the upcoming Galaxy A series 5G smartphone in India through a report by The Tech Outlook.

According to the report, the upcoming Samsung smartphones will share similar specifications with their global counterparts.

The support page for the Galaxy A25 5G smartphone is already live on the Samsung India website, suggesting an imminent launch.

Additionally, the Indian variant of the Galaxy A15 5G smartphone has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking website.

The phones are expected to be launched on December 26th, just after Christmas, as revealed by the tipster.

It is anticipated that Samsung will officially announce the launch date soon. To keep prices down, Samsung might release these smartphones in India without NFC.

The company is also likely to introduce phones priced below Rs 25,000 in India, with the Galaxy A25 5G possibly featuring the in-house Exynos 1280 SoC.

Here are the expected prices for both phones

In Vietnam, the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of the Galaxy A25 5G is priced at VND 65,90,000 (approximately Rs 22,650).

The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant of the Galaxy A15 5G smartphone costs VND 62,89,800 (approximately Rs 21,500).

Samsung may launch the Galaxy A15 5G smartphone in lower storage variants in India.

The standout features of the Samsung Galaxy A25 5G include a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Full HD Plus resolution, 1000 nits peak brightness, and eye comfort mode.

It is powered by the Exynos 1280 processor and Mali G68 MP4 GPU, with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

The phone runs on OneUI 5 based on Android 13 and boasts a 50-megapixel primary rear camera with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

For selfies, there’s a 13-megapixel lens, and the phone is equipped with a 5000mAh battery supporting 25W fast charging.

As for the Samsung Galaxy A15 5G, it features a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, Full HD Plus resolution, and 800 nits peak brightness.

It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor and Mali G57 MP4 GPU, with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage.

The phone runs on OneUI 5 based on Android 13 and has a 50-megapixel primary rear camera, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

The selfie camera is 13 megapixels, and the phone comes with a 5000mAh battery supporting 25W fast charging.
