Royal Enfield announces New Updated Prices for Himalayan 450

Royal Enfield shared the prices of the updated Himalayan during the Motoverse 2023 event in November.

These were special prices and were only applicable until December 31. Recently, Royal Enfield disclosed the new rates for the Himalayan 450.

The Kaza Brown variant now costs ₹16,000 more, while the Slate Blue and Red options have gone up by ₹15,000.

The Henley Black and Comet White models have seen a ₹14,000 increase. Let’s find out the latest prices for the Himalayan.

The current prices are ₹2.85 lakh for Kaza Brown, ₹2.89 lakh for Slate Blue and Red, ₹2.93 lakh for Comet White, and ₹2.98 lakh for Henley Black, all exclusive of showroom charges.

These price adjustments position the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 in competition with the BMW G310GS, KTM 390 Adventure, and the upcoming Hero XPulse 400.

The new Himalayan 450 is powered by the Sherpa 450 engine, a 452cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled unit developed by Royal Enfield for the first time.

It produces 40bhp of power at 8,000rpm and 40Nm of torque at 5,500rpm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring a slip and assist clutch.

In terms of specifications, the updated Himalayan is 55mm longer and 12mm wider, yet 54mm shorter than its predecessor.

The wheelbase has grown to 1,510mm, enhancing its road presence. Royal Enfield lowered the fuel tank and raised the air box for better weight distribution.

The stock seat height is 825mm, extendable to 845mm.
