Regional Airline Fly91 to start Commercial Flight Services from March 18 (Check Routes)

Another local airline in the country, FLY91, is ready to begin offering flight services.

The airline announced that it will start commercial services starting from March 18.

This will include flights connecting Goa to Bengaluru and Hyderabad. Additionally, the airline will operate flights from Bengaluru and Hyderabad to Sindhudurg.

It’s worth mentioning that the airline received its license from the aviation regulator DGCA on March 6.

What the company’s CEO said

Manoj Chacko, who is the Managing Director and CEO of FLY91, mentioned that the airline is also looking to start flights to Lakshadweep starting from April.

He made this announcement at Mopa airport. Manoj Chacko stated that FLY91 will have a total of six ATR 72-600 aircraft within the next six months, with two aircraft currently in operation.

He also mentioned that in the next five years, FLY91 plans to expand its fleet by adding about 35 aircraft and include 50 new cities.

The airline, which is operated by Just Udo Aviation Private Limited, aims to enhance air connectivity in tier-2 and tier-3 cities.

What did the Union Minister say?

During this event, Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia stated, “Previously, the closure and bankruptcy of airlines were common news in our country.

The leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the last 10 years has brought a new era to this industry. As a result, six new regional airlines have been established.

Additionally, the Union Minister reaffirmed the government’s dedication to connecting Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities through the Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik (UDAN) scheme.”

The company mentioned that the aviation industry expects to increase domestic traffic to 300 million.

Fly91 Chairman Harsh Raghavan stated, “Today is a special day. Fly91 had its first flight today and hopes to have many flights daily.

Our goal is to connect all the airports in the country. However, commercial flight services will begin on March 18.”
