Devotees from Varanasi, the city of Lord Vishwanath, will soon have a direct train service to reach Somnath in Gujarat, known for Lord Mahadev’s temple.
The Railway Board approved this proposal on August 29, making it easier for pilgrims.

Varanasi to Somnath Gujarat Direct Train Schedule

Departure from Varanasi: Every Wednesday at 7.30 am
Stops: Prayagraj (10 am), Kota (10.35 pm), Ahmedabad (09.05 am next day)
Arrival at Veraval (Somnath): 6.45 pm the next day

Somnath Gujarat to Varanasi Direct Train Schedule
Train Number: 12945
Departure from Veraval (Somnath): Every Monday at 04.15 am
Stops: Ahmedabad (1.25 pm), Kota (12.05 late night), Prayagraj (11.50 am)
Arrival at Varanasi (Vishwanath): 2.35 pm
Possible Extension: Train may extend to Gorakhpur
