Today, a new train has started running in the country, and it’s something really special.
People are saying it’s even better than Vande Bharat, Shatabdi, and Rajdhani trains. It’s like a royal train for everyone.
This train is called Amrit Bharat, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged it off from Ayodhya today.
Two trains will run regularly from January 4, one from Delhi to Darbhanga via Ayodhya, and the other from Malwa Town to Bangalore.
This train is amazing because now even in General Class and Sleeper coaches, you get the same facilities that were only in Vande Bharat, Shatabdi, and Rajdhani before. Let me tell you about some special things in this train.
Now, people in the general class will have more comfortable seats. Before, the lower seats were not so comfy, but now they have padded seats, making the journey more enjoyable.
Also, for the first time, there are charging points in the general class – four in each compartment.
And there are stands to keep your mobile phone during charging, which is really helpful.
Another good thing is that you can hang your water bottle in this train. They’ve put stands for that, so the bottle doesn’t have to be on the floor.
The inside of the train looks really nice too
Here’s something new in the general class – they’ve added a washbasin outside the toilet, so you can wash your hands without going inside. And the taps are touch-free, you don’t have to touch them.
They’re using a new kind of toilet that keeps things clean. It’s called a bio-vacuum, and it’s the first time they’re using it in this class.
For safety, they’ve installed cameras in the General Class. This way, if something bad happens, the people in charge can use the cameras to find out who did it.
If you’ve ever been nervous when the train moves between two coaches, now there’s something to make it more stable.
They’ve used a special kind of joint that keeps the coaches steady.
And finally, they’ve changed the design of the door windows. Now they’re easier to open, and there’s no unnecessary grill on the outside. It’s a lot better than before!
