Ola Electric planning to launch Holi Edition S1 E-Scooter in India (See Details)

Ola Electric plans to offer a highly exclusive e-scooter in India, which will be sold as a Holi edition, with only five units available for purchase.

The company’s CEO tweeted that this limited-edition model will feature vibrant colors on its bodywork, but it’s uncertain whether the image shared on Twitter is a computer-generated image or a physical prototype.

This special edition is part of a social media competition that Ola Electric is currently running, where the winner who submits the best picture or video of their Holi celebrations will receive one of these rare models.

However, it’s unclear whether these fortunate winners will need to pay for the limited edition e-scooter.

At present, Ola Electric offers the Ola S1 scooter in two battery options – a 2kWh and a 3kWh battery.

Both versions are powered by the same 5.5kWh motor, but the maximum speed is limited to 90kmph and 95kmph for the smaller and larger batteries, respectively.

Ola claims that the 2kWh battery pack can provide a range of 91km, while the 3kWh unit can cover up to 141km (according to ARAI).

All the features and hardware are identical for both S1 models, including LED lights, a seven-inch TFT screen, smartphone integration, navigation, music playback,

three ride modes (eco, normal, and sport), reverse mode, remote boot lock/unlock, and over-the-air updates. The single front shock and rear monoshock remain unchanged as well.

It’s likely that Ola Electric will introduce more such exclusive models in the future, which is an excellent way to generate excitement and maintain interest in their scooters.
