New Volvo XC40 Recharge Plus launched in India (Price & Specs)

Volvo just released a new version of their XC40 Recharge in India. It’s called the XC40 Recharge Plus (E60) and it has one motor instead of two.

The price for this model is Rs 54.95 lakh. There’s another version called the AWD Ultimate, which has two motors and costs Rs 57.9 lakh.

The XC40 Recharge Plus (E60) competes with cars like the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV 6 GT Line, which are priced at Rs 45.95 lakh and Rs 60.95 lakh respectively.

The XC40 Recharge Plus (E60) has a single motor that produces 238bhp and 420Nm of torque.

It can go up to 180 kmph and accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 7.3 seconds. It has a 69kWh lithium-ion battery that gives it a range of 475 km.

Features-wise, the XC40 Recharge Plus (E60) doesn’t have everything that the top-spec AWD versions do.

It misses out on some fancy lights, fog lamps, a 360-degree camera, and a Harman Kardon sound system.

But it still comes with an 8-speaker sound system, dual-zone climate control, TPMS, park assist, panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable front seats, and wireless phone charging.

It also has a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, a 12-inch digital driver display with smartphone connectivity, and 19-inch alloy wheels.

Safety features include ADAS technology with lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, cross-traffic alert, rear collision alert, and more.
