MG Motor India Marks 100th anniversary with Exciting Updates (See Details)

Celebrating its 100th birthday, MG Motor India has shared exciting news about its 2024 car models.

The 2-door electric car, MG Comet EV, now costs Rs 6.99 lakh, which is Rs 1 lakh less than before.

Other models like MG Hector, Aster, and Gloster SUVs now start at Rs 14.94 lakh, Rs 9.98 lakh, and Rs 37.49 lakh respectively.

MG Motor India has also introduced a new version of the MG ZS EV called the Executive trim, priced at Rs 18.98 lakh.

This addition is part of MG Motor India’s 100-year celebration. The ZS EV boasts a 50.3kWh battery, offering a range of 461 km on a single charge.

On the other hand, the MG Comet EV has a 17.3kWh battery, providing a certified range of 230 km.

For customers buying MG vehicles, the MG Shield 360 facility remains available.

This package includes a five-year warranty, five years of hassle-free services, five years of roadside assistance, and more.

MG Motor India has a network of over 300 outlets across the country.

Looking ahead, MG Motor has ambitious plans for India, with a five-year roadmap and an investment of approximately Rs 5,000 crore.

This includes establishing a second manufacturing facility, battery assembly, and launching five new products.

MG aims for 65-75 percent of its total sales in India to be electric vehicles by 2028.

The company will set up a new manufacturing plant in Gujarat, increasing production capacity from 120,000 units to 300,000 units.

MG Motor also plans to invest in advanced and clean technologies, including hydrogen fuel cell and EV cell manufacturing.
