Laadli Behna Yojana: Govt to Provide Rs 1,250 Monthly to unmarried Women above 21 years

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has just introduced a new plan called ‘Laadli Behna Yojana.’

In this plan, unmarried women who are 21 years or older will receive help of Rs 1,250 every month.

He shared this news at a gathering during the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Jan Ashirwad Yatra.

The Chief Minister said this plan aims to make unmarried women in the state better off financially.

He also said they will gradually raise the monthly help to Rs 3,000.

About 1.32 crore unmarried women in the state will benefit from this scheme.

Besides that, Chauhan said this plan is the government’s way of helping women before the elections. They hope this plan will make society better.

The elections in Madhya Pradesh will happen later this year. The BJP’s announcement of this plan might make more people vote for them.

It will also be interesting to see how this plan affects the elections.
