An American company called Jeep has introduced a special version of their SUV called the 2024 Compass Night Eagle Edition.
It starts at Rs 25.39 lakh. This SUV will compete with other special editions like the MG Hector Blackstorm Edition, Tata Harrier Dark Edition, and Mahindra XUV700 Napoli Black Edition.
The Night Eagle Edition comes in black, red, and white colors with a black roof. It looks sporty with its black grille, door handles, and roof rails, along with black 18-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, it has an all-black theme and some extra features like a dashcam, ambient lights, air purifier, and an entertainment screen for rear passengers.
It also has a 10.1-inch touchscreen system for music and maps, a 10.25-inch digital dashboard, a good audio system, wireless charger, 360-degree parking camera, and ventilated seats. Safety features include multiple airbags, ABS, and EBD.
Under the hood, it has the same 2.0L turbo diesel engine as the regular model, with 168bhp power and 350Nm torque.
You can choose between a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic gearbox. The AWD system is available only with the automatic variant.
Jeep is also planning to introduce a new SUV in India, which will be good for off-road adventures like the Mahindra Thar.
It will have features like 4WD, locking differential, and a strong chassis. They’re also planning to launch a mid-size SUV in the future.
