If you are in UAE and your visa is about to expire, you cannot extend it by staying there.

According to the new rules of UAE, you now have to leave the country after the visa expires. If you want to extend the visa, you must first exit the UAE and re-enter. In that case, your ticket will be opened.

2) Visit and residence visa fees increased

The UAE government has increased the fees for issuing Emirates IDs and visiting and residence visas. Now the new rates fixed for these works will be applicable.

For giving Emirates ID, now, instead of 270, a fee of 370 dirhams will have to be paid. At the same time, to get a one-month visa to visit or live in the UAE, instead of 270, a fee of 370 dirhams will have to be paid.

3) Five-year multiple entry visa system

People who like UAE can now apply for a five-year visa as well. Whoever has this visa can come to UAE any number of times in five years. Along with this, this person can also extend the 90 days of a visit once.

However, those who apply for this visa must undergo several procedures. To apply for this visa, six months’ bank balance proof, UAE health insurance proof, a copy of your flight ticket and proof of where you will stay in UAE will have to be given.

4) Action on visa overstayers

If a person stays in the UAE for more than the time of his visa, he will now have to pay a fine and get an out pass or leave permit to go out of the country.

That person will also have to bear the cost of this himself. However, an out pass is necessary only for those who leave Dubai for their countries.

5) Visit visa extended up to 60 days

After many efforts, the UAE government has extended the visit visa period to 60 days.

Now, if someone has come to UAE to visit, he can apply for a visa for a minimum of 30 days and a maximum of 60 days.
