Hyundai launches Updated i20 Hatchback at just Rs 6.99 lakhs in India

Hyundai has introduced the refreshed i20 hatchback in the Indian market, starting at just Rs 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

The new model boasts improved front and rear bumpers and a sleek 2D Hyundai logo upfront, similar to the Exeter and New Verna models.

Interior upgrades are also noticeable, enhancing the overall experience.

Safety is a priority, with 26 standard features, including 6 airbags.

Hyundai i20 Facelift Engine

The premium hatchback is equipped with a 1.2-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine, delivering a maximum power of 83Hp and peak torque of 115Nm.

This engine pairs with either a 5-speed manual or CVT transmission and includes the Idle Stop and Go (ISG) feature. The 1.0-liter petrol variant with 7-speed DCT and 6-speed iMT has been discontinued.

The i20 retains its impressive features, such as ambient lighting, door armrests, and leatherette padding.

It features a 10.25-inch touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, Apple CarPlay with Android Auto, a Bose sound system with 7 speakers, and a wireless charger.

A single-pane sunroof and automatic climate control add to the allure. USB charging ports are also available.

You can choose from 6 monotone and 2 dual-tone color options, including Amazon Grey.

Safety is paramount in this hatchback, offering 26 standard features.

These include 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Assist Control (HAC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSN), 3-point seat belts with seatbelt reminders for all seats, and more.

It also boasts over 60 connected car features, 127 embedded VR commands, 52 Hinglish voice commands, over-the-air updates, and a multi-language user interface supporting 10 regional and 2 international languages.

Additional safety features encompass ABS with EBD, a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), reverse parking sensors, and automatic headlamps.
