Hero MotoCorp has raised the price of its latest offering, the Karizma XMR, a mere month after its debut.
The new ex-showroom price now stands at Rs 1.80 lakh, marking a Rs 7,000 increase over the previous cost.
These adjusted prices will take effect starting October 1, 2023. Hero has also announced that interested buyers can secure the Karizma XMR at its introductory rate until September 30 by depositing a token sum of Rs 3,000.
Further booking details will be disclosed at a later date, and the updated pricing will apply.
Impressive Engine in the Karizma XMR
The Karizma XMR boasts a robust engine housed within a steel trellis frame. It features a telescopic front fork and a preload adjustable monoshock suspension.
Notably, this model is Hero’s first motorcycle to come equipped with dual-channel ABS and is equipped with 300mm and 240mm disc brakes at the front and rear, respectively.
Stylish Design and Advanced Features
This new, fully-faired motorcycle from Hero showcases an array of premium features.
These include an adjustable windscreen, turn-by-turn navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, and an LCD display.
The Karizma XMR also boasts all-LED lighting as standard and offers a choice of three colors: Yellow, Red Yellow, and Matte Black.
Competition in the Market
Even with the price increase to Rs 1.80 lakh, the Karizma XMR remains competitively priced, especially when compared to its rivals.
It is notably more affordable than most competitors, with the exception of the Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 priced at Rs 1.72 lakh.
Its competitors include the Yamaha R15 V4 (Rs 1.82 lakh-Rs 1.87 lakh), Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 (Rs 1.92 lakh-Rs 2.05 lakh), and KTM RC 200 (Rs 2.18 lakh).
