Govt Offers Mera Bill, Mera Adhikar Rewards for Invoice (See Details)

The Indian government has introduced an exciting program for customers called “My Bill, My Right.”

The goal is to encourage people to always ask for a receipt when they make a purchase.

The government, along with state governments across the country, has launched the “Challan Incentive Scheme” to support this initiative.

According to the information in the video, if you shop or eat at expensive places, make sure to ask for a GST Invoice Bill and keep it.

Upload that bill using the ‘My Bill, My Rights’ app. By doing this, you can have a chance to win rewards from Rs 10,000 to Rs 1 crore. Please note that News18 has not confirmed the authenticity of this news.

This initiative by the Indian government applies to all business-to-consumer invoices provided by GST-registered shopkeepers in the participating states.

You can upload the challan on the ‘My Bill Mera Adhikar’ mobile app, which is available on iOS, Android, and the web portal ‘web.merabill.gst.gov.in.’

Each uploaded invoice will be assigned a Receiving Key Number (ARN), and the prize draw will be based on this number.

Winners will be announced at regular intervals, either once a month or every three months. The prizes range from Rs 10,000 to Rs 1 crore.To participate, your bill amount should be at least Rs 200.

Currently, the states of Assam, Gujarat, and Haryana, along with the Union Territories of Puducherry, Dadra Nagar Haveli, and Daman and Diu, are part of this pilot project.

More states may join in the coming months. Winners will be notified through SMS, the mobile app, and the portal.
