An online shopping site called Flipkart has started a new payment service called ‘Flipkart UPI’. They teamed up with Axis Bank for this.
Right now, only Android phone users can use it. With Flipkart UPI, you can get rewards like Supercoins, cashback, and vouchers.
This new service will help Flipkart’s customers a lot. When they buy things on Flipkart, they won’t need other apps to pay.
It’s a big move for Flipkart to have its own payment service. This might affect other apps like Google Pay and PhonePe.
Flipkart UPI will make paying easier. The organization behind UPI, NPCI, wants to make sure not too many companies depend on just a few.
Flipkart says you can use UPI for online and offline purchases on their site.
You can use Flipkart’s app to pay with UPI. Flipkart and PhonePe split up in late 2022. Flipkart says you can sign up for UPI with their app using ‘@fkaxis’ handle.
