In a historical move, the DDA issued 945 demand letters online to all those who booked the flats within the last 24 hours.

According to the figures provided by the DDA, 435 flats were booked in Narela, 50 in Dwarka, 475 in Rohini, 10 in Siraspur, 16 in Jasola, and 29 in Lok Nayak Puram.

The scheme offered over 5,600 flats in Dwarka, Jasola, Narela, Siraspur, Rohini, and Lok Nayak Puram.

The registration for this scheme commenced on June 30, and bookings officially opened at 12 PM on July 10.

“The response has been overwhelming, with over 650 flats booked within a few hours of opening the booking. Rohini alone witnessed over 300 bookings, while Narela had more than 200, and all 50 flats in Dwarka were swiftly sold out.

Locations like Jasola, Siraspur, and Lok Nayak Puram are also experiencing encouraging responses,” said the DDA in a statement.

Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena, who is also the chairman of DDA, is personally overseeing the agency’s housing policy and has taken various measures to make the flats more appealing to potential homebuyers.

Enhanced connectivity and improved security measures in Narela, along with the development of numerous infrastructure projects, have contributed to its attractiveness, as mentioned by the authority.

DDA will issue the demand-cum-allotment letters online within 24 hours to all those who have booked the flats.

Registration and booking of flats can also be done on DDA’s website.

The flats are priced in the range of Rs 10 lakh to Rs 2.2 crore, depending on the category and location. Jasola offers three-bedroom flats for the high-income group, with only 41 units available.

Additionally, DDA is offering only 199 two-bedroom flats in Dwarka and Narela.

The booking amount for flats for the economically weaker section is Rs 50,000, while for low-income group units, it is Rs 1 lakh.

For middle-income and high-income groups, the booking amount is Rs 4 lakh and Rs 10 lakh, respectively.
