Complete Safety All Cars Now Include 6 Airbags, Even in Base Models

It’s now a rule that every car in India must have at least two airbags. The government thought about making it six, but that hasn’t happened yet.

Some car companies, like Kia and Hyundai, already put six airbags in all their models, from the basic to the top version.

Now, another car company is doing the same. The French company Citroen said that starting from the second part of 2024,

all their cars in India will have six airbags as a standard feature. These airbags include ones in the front, on the sides, and curtains, making driving safer.

But that’s not all; they’re also making sure all cars have ISOFIX seat anchorage and a reminder for the rear seatbelt as standard features.

This is to make the cars even safer. Aditya Jayaraj, the head of Stellantis India, mentioned that people nowadays care a lot about safety when choosing a car.

Citroen has four models in India – C3 Aircross SUV, C3, e-C3, and C5 Aircross SUV. Prices for Citroen C3 range from Rs 6.16 lakh to Rs 8.96 lakh (excluding showroom costs).

For Citroen C3 Aircross, it’s between Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 13.85 lakh (excluding showroom costs).

The Citroen C5 Aircross price is between Rs 36.91 lakh to Rs 37.67 lakh (excluding showroom costs), and Citroen EC3 ranges from Rs 11.61 lakh to Rs 13.50 lakh (excluding showroom costs).
