Apple Introduces New AI Image Editing Tool Prompt-Driven Like ChatGPT

Apple, a big technology company, made a new tool for editing pictures using artificial intelligence (AI).

With this tool, people can change their photos without using editing software.

It’s called the MGIE model, and it can do things like cutting, resizing, flipping, and adding filters to pictures just by typing commands.

Apple worked on this tool with the University of California, Santa Barbara.

The MGIE model is helpful for editing pictures. It can do both simple and more complicated tasks, like changing the shape of objects in a photo or making them brighter.

This model combines two types of language models. First, it understands what users want by reading their instructions. Then, it shows how the edited picture will look.

Researchers found that the MGIE model is better than other methods because it understands user instructions clearly and edits pictures accurately.

Other companies also have AI tools for editing pictures. For example, OpenAI’s DALL-E 3 and Adobe’s Firefly AI model. These tools can also edit pictures based on text commands.

Even though Apple is not as big in AI as Microsoft, Meta, or Google, the CEO, Tim Cook, said they are working on adding more AI features to their tools this year.
