New Delhi:On Wednesday, Akasa Air declared Kolkata as its 17th destination and confirmed that the airline will now operate in all major cities in India.
The company release stated that daily non-stop flights connecting Kolkata to Bengaluru and Guwahati will commence on May 18.
Passengers will also have the option of traveling from Bengaluru to Guwahati via Kolkata with a daily through flight, eliminating the need for a change of aircraft.
The release further mentioned that with this announcement, Akasa Air will have its operations in all metro cities in India.
It is noteworthy that after the flights connecting Bagdogra to Bengaluru went on sale earlier this month, Kolkata will be Akasa Air’s second destination in West Bengal.
