Lots of new Xiaomi and Redmi smartphones and tablets are coming soon with a new software called HyperOS.
Xiaomi announced that they’ll replace their old MIUI system with HyperOS on many devices over the next few months.
HyperOS was introduced last year with Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro models. The latest Xiaomi 14 Ultra also runs on HyperOS, which is based on Android 14.
Xiaomi revealed at the Mobile World Congress that several devices will get the HyperOS update in the first half of 2024, by June.
This includes models like Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13T, Xiaomi 12, and Xiaomi 12T series.
Even some Redmi phones like Redmi Note 13 5G and Redmi Note 12 5G series will receive the update.
Here’s a list of models scheduled to receive the HyperOS update by June 2024:
Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro, Xiaomi 13 Ultra, Xiaomi 13T, Xiaomi 13T Pro, Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, Xiaomi 12T,
Xiaomi 12T Pro, Redmi Note 13 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G, Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G.
Additionally, newer devices like Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro, Xiaomi Watch S3, and Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro already run on HyperOS.
Older tablets such as Xiaomi Pad 6 and Redmi Pad SE will also get the HyperOS update by June.
Xiaomi 14 is going to be launched globally on March 7, including in India. The Indian variant is expected to have similar specifications as the Chinese variant.
