A Korean company named Samsung just released the new Galaxy S24 series, and you can now order them on Amazon.
The phones come with an update called OneUI 6.1, which supports Galaxy AI.
This means even some older Samsung S and Z series phones will get Galaxy AI support by the first half of 2024.
If you have specific phones like Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Flip 5, and Tab S9 series, you’ll be the first to enjoy Galaxy AI features, including something called Circle to Search.
Samsung confirmed that at least six smartphones and three tablets will get Galaxy AI features before June 2024.
These phones include Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy S23, S23+, S23 Ultra, Z Flip 5, and Z Fold 5, along with tablets Tab S9, Tab S9+, and Tab S9 Ultra.
However, some features in the Samsung Galaxy S24 series are only available due to on-device generative AI, which may not be in older phones.
Also, entry-level (M series, F series) and mid-range (A series) phones won’t get any Galaxy AI features, even with the OneUI 6.1 update.
