Honor80 Pro launched with Straight Screen, 160MP Camera

Honor 80 Pro Straight Screen Edition has been launched. Some specifications of the phone are similar to the regular Pro model.

This handset runs on Android 12-based Magic OS 7.0 skin. The company has introduced the phone in three color options.

It has Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. The phone is available for sale in China.

It has a 6.67-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and 1,080×2,400 pixel resolution.

The display comes with 1,000 units of peak brightness. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor paired with an Adreno 730 GPU and 12GB of RAM.

Triple rear camera setup

Regarding the camera sensor, the triple rear camera setup has been given in Honor 80 Pro Straight Screen Edition, in which the primary sensor of 160MP has been given.

Additionally, 8MP ultrawide camera sensor and 2MP macro camera are available.

The smartphone has a 32MP AI camera sensor for selfies and video calling.

Phone Connectivity Features

Regarding connectivity, the handset has features like 5G, Bluetooth v5.2, and Wi-Fi 802.NFC, USB OTG, GPS, and USB Type-C port. Sensors on the device include the gyroscope, compass, ambient light, and gravity sensor.

Side-mounted fingerprint sensor

For security, the device has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. Apart from this, the new variant also supports the Face Unlock feature. This Honor smartphone has a 4,800mAh battery with 66W superfast charging support.

Phone price

The company has launched the Honor 80 Pro Straight Screen Edition for 3599 yuan (about Rs 43,300). It can be bought in Bright Black, Ink Jade Green, and Morning Glo colors. The company still needs to give information about its global launch.
