Indigo has decided to fly daily from Sri Guru Ramdas Ji International Airport in Amritsar to Ahmedabad from January 9, 2023.
Earlier, this flight used to pass only three days a week. This will be of great benefit to the business people.
This flight connects business people from here to Ahmedabad between Baroda and Surat.
Business people and tourists from Gujarat go to Himachal Pradesh, Jammu, and Kashmir after paying obeisance at Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib in Amritsar.
Along with this, Indigo has relieved tourists by changing the timings of their flights to Goa.
National convenor of Flight Amritsar Initiative, Yogesh Kamra, said that business people had long-standing demand that flights to Ahmedabad should be made daily.
Ritu Sharma, executive director of Sri Guru Ramdas Ji International Airport, told that the flight to Ahmedabad will go daily from January 9.
There used to be separate flights for Ahmedabad and Goa, but from January 9, it will be a single flight.
The flight taking off from Ahmedabad will go to Goa after reaching Amritsar. Similarly, from Goa, this flight will come back to Amritsar, and from Amritsar, it will go back to Ahmedabad.
