SBI credit card rules will change from January 2023 for some cardholders
State Bank of India Cards and Payment Services has updated some rules for its SimpleCLICK cardholders.
According to the State Bank of India Cards and Payment Services website, in the new year 2023, two rules regarding redeeming vouchers and reward points will be changed.
What will be the changes?
SBI Cards and Payment Services on its website said, “With effect from January 6, 2023,
Cleartrip vouchers issued to SimplyClick cardholders on reaching online spend milestones can be used for only one transaction and cannot be clubbed wit
any other offer or coupon Apart from this, the rules of reward points on online spending with click on Amazon. in will also change from January 1.
How many reward points on online spend
The website said, “10X Reward Points on online spends on Amazon.SBI Card with SimplyClick/SimplyClick Advantage will be revised to 5X Reward Points w.e.f.
January 1, 23. Your card will continue to earn 10X reward points on online spending at Apollo 24X7, BookMyShow, Cleartrip, EazyDiner, Lenskart, and Netmeds.
SBI Card has imposed revised charges on EMI transactions from November 15, 2022, and new demands on rent payments using credit cards.
The website further stated, “The amounts on your credit cards will apply from November 15 to 22.
The processing fee on merchant EMI transactions has been revised to Rs 199 + applicable taxes from the earlier Rs 99 + applicable taxes.
Rent Payment Transactions: The processing fee will be Rs 99 + applicable taxes.
