5000+ Vacancies for 10th Pass-ITI Candidates in RRB ALP Recruitment 2024 – Check Salary Details

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is offering a chance to fill more than 5000 positions for Assistant Loco Pilots in 2024.

The online applications for Railway Assistant Loco Pilot Recruitment 2024 will start on January 20, and the last date to apply is February 19, 2024. A total of 5,696 vacancies are available, and candidates will be selected based on a CBT test.

Who can apply?

To apply for the ALP position, you should have passed 10th grade and completed IIT in the relevant trade from a recognized institute affiliated with NCVT/SCVT.

Eligible ITI trades include Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Millwright/Maintenance Mechanic, Mechanic (Radio/TV), Electronics Mechanic, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Wireman,

Tractor Mechanic, Armature and Coil Winder, Mechanical (Diesel), Heat engines, turners, machinists, and refrigeration and air conditioning mechanics.

Age Limit:

Applicants should be between 18 and 30 years old. However, there is age relaxation for reserved category candidates as per Railway Recruitment Board RRB ALP Recruitment Advertisement No. CEN 01/2024 rules. Keep an eye on the official website for more information.

Salary Details:

The basic pay for RRB Assistant Loco Pilot is Rs 19,900, distributed within Level 2 of the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) pay scale.

In addition to the basic salary, ALPs are entitled to various allowances and benefits, including Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA),

Transport Allowance, and Night Duty Allowance. The total salary ranges from Rs 25,000 to Rs 35,000 per month.

Application Fee:

The application fee is Rs 500 for General/OBC/EWS, Rs 250 for SC/ST/PH, and all categories of women candidates. After Stage I examination,

UR/OBC/EWS will receive a refund of Rs 400, while SC/ST/PH/Women candidates will get a refund of Rs 250.

The examination fee can be paid through debit card, credit card, net banking fee mode only.
