The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is a program by the Central Government to help farmers. Its goal is to give money to farmers to help them financially. So far, the government has given 15 payments to farmers through this program.
On 28th February 2024, farmers will receive the 16th payment in their bank accounts. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will send this money to farmers all over the country on that day.
Under this program, farmers get Rs 6,000 every year. This money is given to them in installments every 4 months, with Rs 2,000 in each installment.
The last payment was made on 27th November 2024, and now the government has announced the date for the 16th payment.
This program is for all farmers in the country, no matter what kind of farm they have. But to get the money, farmers need to do e-KYC (electronic Know Your Customer) and have their land verified. If they don’t do this, they won’t get the 16th payment.

- Go to the PM Kisan Yojana website (pmkisan.gov.in).
- Click on ‘Know Your Status’.
- Enter your registration number.
- Type in the captcha shown on the screen.
- Fill in all the information and click ‘Get Details’.
- You’ll see your status on the screen.
