YouTube Music introduces Live Lyrics Feature for Android and iOS Users

YouTube Music is making music listening even more engaging with the launch of the Live Lyrics feature.

This feature, widely appreciated on platforms like Apple Music, is now being introduced for users of YouTube Music on both Android and iOS devices.

Live Lyrics on YouTube Music

Users will notice a fresh and improved design for the Lyrics tab in the Now Playing section.

The text size has been increased for better readability, along with improved spacing.

As the song progresses to the next line, the page updates seamlessly.

Background blurring complements the cover art, enhancing the visual experience while enjoying music.

Notably, YouTube Music employs a note to signal the start of the audio just before the song begins, ensuring a smooth transition.

According to a recent 9 to 5 Google report, Live Lyrics are now available for YouTube Music users on Android (version 6.15) and iOS (6.16) devices.

This development brings the joy of synchronized lyrics to a wider audience.

Humming Your Way to Song Searches

In another exciting development, YouTube, owned by Google, is testing an innovative feature on Android devices.

This feature allows users to search for songs on the platform by humming tunes.

On the ‘YouTube test features and experiments’ page, the company revealed, “We’re experimenting with the ability for people to search for songs on YouTube by humming or recording the song they’re currently playing.”

This experiment allows users to switch from the standard voice search to the new song search option.

Users can hum or record the song they’re searching for, holding the tune for more than three seconds for accurate identification.

These advancements in music technology bring more enjoyment and convenience to music enthusiasts, making the listening experience even more immersive and interactive.
