Hero MotoCorp is selling the Xpulse 200 as an affordable off-roader bike.
And Royal Enfield is making 450cc and 650cc Himalayan and Scram bikes.
A new media report has claimed that Yamaha is considering 125cc to 155cc adventure bikes for the Indian market as the segment is quite popular in the country.
As expected, this new bike can be Yamaha WR155R, a strong off-roader.

This Yamaha bike gets a 155.1cc engine, which generates 16 bhp power and 14 Nm torque.
The motorcycle receives 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels. It gets a ground clearance of 245mm. Also, it gets a fuel tank of 8 liters.

If the Yamaha WR 155R motorcycle is launched in India, it could be priced higher than the Hero XPulse 200.
Hero XPulse 200 is available in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1,24,418. It is available in only one variant and three colors.
The company has given a 199.6cc BS6 engine in Hero Xpulse 200T, which generates power of 17.83 bhp and torque of 16.15 Nm.
Disc brakes are available on both front and rear wheels with the anti-locking braking system.
Hero XPulse 200T has a fuel tank capacity of 13 liters. Yamaha WR155R will compete with Hero’s powerful bike Xpulse 200T.
