These days many new vehicles are being launched in the country’s automobile sector. In this sequence, Yamaha has also decided to launch its new updated Yamaha MT-15 V2.0 bike.
This bike will be launched as a sports bike. The new bike is made to meet the country’s latest OBD 2 emission norms.
It is to be noted that OBD 2 emission norms will be applicable from April 1, 2023.
Thus, it will be the first two-wheeler in the country that has been designed keeping the new emission norms in mind.
New Yamaha MT-15 V2.0 bike will get 155cc engine
A 155cc VVA liquid-cooled engine will power the new Yamaha MT-15 V2.0 bike. According to media reports, there will not be much difference in the bike’s weight.
The price of this new bike can be higher than the existing bike by about 3 to 5 thousand rupees. Currently, its ex-showroom price in Delhi is around Rs 1,64,000.
According to some media reports, the design of the new Yamaha bike will also remain similar to the current one to some extent.
It will also have features like upside-down forks, rear monoshock, and disc brake at both ends.
The bike will be launched in only one variant. However, Metallic Black, Ice-Fluo Vermilion, Cyan Storm, and Racing Blue color options will be given.
