Xiaomi has recently introduced a brand new budget-friendly smart TV called Xiaomi TV EA43 2023.
Despite being the 2023 edition of the previous 2022 model, the remarkable aspect of this release is that it maintains the same price as its predecessor.
The new TV retains almost all the features from the previous model, with just one significant upgrade.
Sleek Design with a 43-Inch Full HD Display
The company quietly launched the Xiaomi TV EA43 in China without any social media announcements.
It was directly listed on the website of an online retailer. Similar to its predecessor, this TV boasts a sleek metal frame and a 1080p (Full HD) screen.
The 43-inch display offers a 96.7% screen-to-body ratio, while the LED-backlit LCD screen provides a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 60Hz.
However, it’s important to note that this TV does not support HDR and offers a viewing angle of 178°.
Enhanced Performance and Connectivity
Under the hood, the TV is equipped with a 64-bit chipset, an upgrade from the previous dual-core Amlogic chip.
It is paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage, delivering improved performance.
Thanks to the advanced chipset, the TV now supports dual-band WiFi, a feature absent in the previous model.
Additionally, the new TV offers Bluetooth connectivity, along with 2 HDMI ports, AV, 2 USB ports, S/PDIF, antenna, and Ethernet.
Running on TV 3.0 based on MIUI, it also features two 8W speakers (16W) with DTS-HD support.
Competitively Priced Xiaomi TV EA43 2023
The Xiaomi TV EA43 2023 is priced at ¥799 (~$110 or approximately 9,000 rupees) in China.
It is currently available for purchase on Xiaomi Youpin and will soon be available at other retailers.
However, like previous Xiaomi TV EA models, there is no confirmation regarding its release in global markets at this time.
